Cash Contribution Project
Under the Cash Contribution Scheme, a specific sum is received by the monastery annually on a date specified by the donor towards the dana requirements, maintenance, operation or development of the monastery or the Meditation Centre. The specific day can be the death anniversary of a family member or friend, the donor’s birthday or any other specified reason.
On the day, the donor or the deceased relative’s name is read out by a member of the Venerable Sangha and merits duly transferred.

When making a donation, please indicate the purpose of the donation (i.e. ‘Donation for the Cash Contribution Scheme’) and email us at treasurer@nissarana.lk once the funds have been transferred.
